Metal Clay SilverIntroduction to Metal Clay
Register by February 11!

You roll, mold, shape, carve your design with this moist, pliable clay.  Dry it, lightly sand, fire (most pieces can be fired with a butane torch), and polish.  You design and create your own works of art.  Best of all, (prior to firing) if you are not happy with your creation you can recycle it back into clay.  Virtually no waste.   Once your creation is fired, you are left with .999 silver which is the equivalent of fine silver.   Unlike traditional metalworking, there are no expensive tools and equipment to purchase.  You can carry what you need in a small pouch or tool box.

You will be creathing THREE pieces of fine silver jewelry in ONE class using Art Clay (R).  This medium allows anyone with a desire to create silver works of art! Make a roll over bail pendant, a Calla Lilly charm with a crystal center and includes some basic wire working techniques, and a dichroic glass pendant.  You will learn three different and versatile skills that you can easily adapt to your own style.  Fee includes all materials and you will take home three completed pieces of jewelry!  This class is scheduled for Thursday, March 11.  Pre-registration is required.  Click here for more information.

Star Burst RingStar Burst Ring

Take wirewrapping to the next level with this brilliant ring.  Made using bicone crystals, hear pins, wire and a bead cap, you will wire wrap each bead and attach using round nose pliers, flat nose pliers and side cutters.  Easy to make, your friends will want you to make one for each of them.  Make them in lots of different colors to match your wardrobe every day of the week.  Click here for more information.

Medallion RingMedallion Ring

This pattern comes from the Cube Bead Stitching book.  Incorporate St. Petersburg double chain stitch in making the medallion center of this ring.  Each section is attached to the previous one in a sequence that works its way around to the sides.  Show off a flat focal bead as a setting to finish it off.  The band is made to fit using a ladder stitch.  A Kalmbach approved class.  Free pattern included with class.  Click here for more information.
